George S. Benson Auditorium included the
renovation and addition to an existing 320
seat lecture hall into a state of the art lecture,
performance stage and movie venue, for
the benefit of the College's Media Studies
program. A large glass lobby was added to
the front of the building and includes pocket
doors to facilitate performances in the lobby
that can be viewed from the lawn. The auditorium
renovation employs green building
principles that reduces energy consumption.
